Privacy Policy
Mix Mentor · Published by Media7Group · Last updated October 23, 2026
This policy explains what information Mix Mentor ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Mix Mentor is developed and published by Media7Group.
Information we collect
The app collects the following information:
- Account information. If you create an account, your email address and password are used to sign you in and are stored by our backend provider, Supabase, so your progress can sync across your devices.
- App progress and settings. The drinks you've selected to practice, your quiz scores and history, unlocked drinks, in-app tips balance, and your language and unit preferences. This is stored on your device and, if you're signed in, synced to your account.
- Purchase information. If you make an in-app purchase or start a subscription, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. The app does not handle or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify purchases and subscriptions and to unlock what you've bought. RevenueCat receives purchase details (such as a Google Play purchase token), basic device information, and an app user identifier.
- Approximate location. When the app requests or shows an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) collects your device's IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location, such as your country or city. This approximate location is shared with Google AdMob. We do not see or store it ourselves.
- Diagnostics. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects diagnostic information about how the app and the SDK are performing, such as app launch time, hang rate, energy usage, and crash or error information related to ads. This diagnostic information is shared with Google AdMob. We do not see or store it ourselves.
- Advertising identifiers and ad interactions. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may also collect your device's advertising ID and app set ID, and your interactions with the app and its ads, such as app launches, taps, and video views. See "Advertising" below.
We do not collect your precise (GPS) location, contacts, or photos, and the app does not request permission to access them.
How we use your information
- To operate the app: sign you in, save and sync your progress, and remember your preferences.
- To process and verify purchases and subscriptions, and to unlock the content or features you've purchased.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
- To show ads that help fund free use of the app, and to measure how those ads perform.
- Through Google AdMob, to use approximate location and diagnostics for advertising (for example, showing ads suited to your region), for analytics, and for fraud prevention and security.
Advertising
Mix Mentor shows ads served by Google AdMob. Before any ad is requested, the app asks for your consent using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), Google's consent management tool. Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland), you'll see a consent form before any ads are shown, and you can review or change your choice at any time from the app's Settings screen under "Ad privacy choices."
Depending on your choice and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Personalized ads use an advertising identifier and usage data to show ads that may be more relevant to you; non-personalized ads do not use this kind of profiling.
What is shared with Google AdMob. Whenever ads are shown, including non-personalized ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares the following with Google:
- Approximate location, estimated from your IP address. Even non-personalized ads use approximate location so ads suit your region.
- Diagnostics, such as app and SDK performance information and crash or error information.
- Device identifiers, such as the advertising ID and app set ID, where your choices and region allow.
- App and ad interactions, such as app launches, taps, and video views.
Google uses this data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. It is encrypted in transit using TLS. Google and its advertising partners may collect and use data as described in Google's Partner Sites policy and How Google uses data when you use AdMob. Google describes exactly what the SDK collects in Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.
If you have an Ad-Free subscription, interstitial ads are removed, but the optional rewarded ads you choose to watch for tips still work the same way and share the data described above.
Third-party service providers
- Supabase — authentication and cloud storage for your account and synced progress.
- RevenueCat — manages and verifies in-app purchases. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- Google AdMob — serves ads shown in the app, and receives approximate location, diagnostics, device identifiers, and app and ad interactions as described above.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — manages your ad-consent choices.
These providers process data on our behalf and under their own privacy policies.
Data retention and deletion
Your account data and synced progress are kept for as long as your account exists. You can reset your unlocked drinks or wipe all local app data at any time from Settings. To delete your account and associated data entirely, you can go to Settings → Delete account in the app, or email us at reachout@media7group.com and ask us to delete your account. When we delete your account, we delete all of your Mix Mentor data, and we also delete your customer record and purchase history from RevenueCat.
Subscriptions are not cancelled when you delete your account. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Google Play, so to stop future charges you need to cancel them through Google Play. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Mix Mentor account does not cancel a subscription. Google explains how in Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play.
Data held by Google. Some information about you is held by Google under its own privacy policy, and deleting your Mix Mentor account does not remove it from Google. This includes the approximate location, diagnostics, and other advertising data collected through AdMob, and purchase and billing records (Google Play). To have that data removed, contact Google directly using the details in Google's Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
Mix Mentor is about mixing alcoholic cocktails and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Your choices
- You can review or withdraw your ad consent at any time from Settings → Ad privacy choices (where offered for your region).
